How it Works ...

 


Low Water Usage

A positive displacement meter Aaccurately measures the volume of water used to regenerate the softener. Only 17 litres are used every time, all the time, no inaccurate paddle meters.

Reliability

Reliability is enhanced by using the softened water produced by the softener to power the control system so it doesn’t get clogged by the hard water.

Small & Simple

 

Adding salt is simplicity itself…..a matter of seconds. The diagram shows how the clever sliding lid design lets a new block tip in without any extra height being required. The amazing MiniMAX block salt softener fits comfortably under a standard sink unit. Alternatively the MiniMAX can be installed outside with one of our insulated outside cabinets.
 
How to add salt

 

 

1.

A minimum of clearance is needed above unit for removal of lid.

3.

No additional space needed when loading salt.

2.

Lid slides forward to access block salt compartment.

4.

Block salt easily lowers onto inner platform.

 

Salt Efficiency

 


The salt is not used to soften the water, but is used to release the hardness minerals from the resin.
This process is called regeneration.

 
With the MiniMAX non electric operation, salt is the the only consumable product. Even here the MiniMax is more efficient and cheaperTo run than most softeners. This is because the MiniMAX’s unique control System uses the exact amount of salt necessary to regenerate the resin, and Does not rely on a pre-programmed estimate of water usage.
